The William Kennish Building was originally the former Douglas water treatment works.
The building, situated halfway up Greenfield Road on the left, underwent a refurbishment during the academic year 2013/14 and was officially opened on 11 November 2014 by a decendent of William Kennish.
General engineering courses take place in the main building and the site has a motor vehicle workshop. Drink and snack vending machines are available and students are encouraged to visit the Homefield Road refectory for hot and cold meals.
As there is a limited amount of parking spaces available (which are reserved for staff and visitors) students are advised to park at Thie Ushtey.
