Equality and diversity is important in the workplace. The focus of this module is the application of equality and diversity concepts and theories to real life situations and issues. Students will be expected to reflect critically on their own experiences in a diverse workplace and engage with issues identified on the courses. It will help advance participant engagement with relevant issues and changes in legislation directly applicable to their working environment. Students will establish an understanding of the purpose and benefits of equality and diversity paradigms as a useful tool to inform and improve organisational performance and learning, promoting inclusive organisational performance and learning.
