Every year at the Research Festival we host a Student Dissertation competition, where students who have just completed their dissertation get to showcase their work. The winner will receive a prize of £200 which has kindly been provided by PDMS.
Information for UCM Higher Education (Level 4+) Students:
On 2nd or 3rd May (a few weeks after you have finished your dissertation) UCM's Marketing team will be filming with individual students.
In your video you'll include
- Your name and course
- Research project title
- What you did (methodology)
- What you discovered (findings)
……………in 3 minutes
The top 3 videos will be selected by the Research Festival Organising Committee and the attendees to the festival will be asked to select the winner, which will be announced at the event. All the videos will be displayed throughout that day at the Nunnery.
We also may use these on the UCM website and social media (if you're not happy for us to do that please let us know at the time of filming).
