At the Adult Learning Festival University College Isle of Man (UCM) announced its online learning platform, Virtual Campus, will be released on 1st September.
At the ‘Levelling up your potential; the benefits of lifelong learning’ session which was held on Monday 20th April at the Santander Work Cafe, UCM’s Adult Learning Manager, Kerry Birchall announced that the Virtual Campus, an online learning portal from UCM which provides a wide range of courses and qualifications, will be launched on 1st September, with people attending the event getting early bird access.
Kerry Birchall said: “This year’s Adult Learning Festival was the perfect opportunity for us to announce that our online learning platform, Virtual Campus, will be available soon. The website will open up new learning opportunities for people on the Island with an organisation that you know you can trust, at a time and place that suits you. The website offers a wide range of courses for people interested or working in different industries.”
During the presentation, Keynote speaker, Chris Kissack, shared his personal journey about embracing upskilling his knowledge base, as well as exploring why it’s never been more important to upskill and learn new things.
The event kicked off a week of learning opportunities for adults which included taster sessions for Just for Fun and Upskilling courses, demonstrations and online content all about lifelong learning.
More information about the Virtual Campus will be released soon.
