Post-Exam Support and Guidance Event

University College Isle of Man (UCM) is inviting students to its Post-Exam Results Guidance Event on Monday 1st September 2025, designed to help anyone feeling uncertain about their next steps after receiving exam results.

Held at UCM’s Homefield Road campus, the event will run during two sessions: 10am–12pm and 2pm–4pm, offering tailored support for students navigating their options after their GCSEs or A-levels.

Jesamine Kelly, UCM Principal, said: "We understand how stressful exam results days can be, especially when outcomes differ from expectations. Whether students had plans to continue their education or enter employment, results can shift those plans—and we’re here to help them explore all available options."

Throughout the day, UCM’s Applications Team, Student Services, Careers Advisor, and lecturing staff will be available to provide expert advice and guidance. Students who have applied to UCM and received unexpected grades are encouraged to upload their results to the Learner Portal and attend the event. Those who haven’t yet applied but are now considering UCM are also warmly welcomed.

This event is open to:

  • Students who have completed GCSEs and are exploring Further Education or apprenticeships
  • Students who have finished A-Levels or Level 3 qualifications and are considering University.

Whether you're rethinking your plans or just need some clarity, UCM is here to support your journey.
