Call for Papers
Proudly themed “Biosphere IOM”, this year’s event invites submissions that highlight the depth, diversity and innovation of research connected to the Island’s whole-nation biosphere.
Researchers, students, academics, community groups and businesses who are undertaking work that explores or advances the Isle of Man’s status as a UNESCO Biosphere are encouraged to register their interest 31st July 2026.
Biosphere encompasses a wide range of topics including:
- the Economy
- Heritage & Culture
- Community
- Health & Wellbeing
- the Environment
The aim of the event is to exchange knowledge and ideas, facilitate collaboration between researchers, on and off-Island, promote the reputation of Island-based research, and to educate.
Research can be showcased in either a presentation or poster format.
