Josie Laisney studied the Art Foundation course at UCM before studying Fashion Design at the University of Brighton. Josie received a scholarship award from Isle of Man Arts Aid.
Why did Josie choose the Art Foundation course? "The reason why I decided to do it was there's loads of options, so you do all sorts of things. Photography, film development, graphics, fashion, textiles, ceramics. It's a little bit of everything and that's why I wanted to do it. You kind of refine your choices and you specialise. It led me to where I am now."
