Celebrating VQ Day 2019
This week we're celebrating the achievements of students studying Vocational Qualifications at UCM.
Robbie studied the Extended Diploma in IT (Level 3 BTEC)
Grade achieved: Triple Distinction Star
I always had a fascination with IT and knew I wanted to study IT at a high level.
The best thing about this course is that it covers a wide range of IT skills and systems, including databases, hardware and software. Over two years I studied 18 units.
I personally find coursework less stressful than exams, so this course suited me particularly well.

The next step for me is studying a degree in Computer Science at UCM. Once I have successfully completed this I’d like to work in network or data centres.
